The material is soft, with just enough spring to stay close to your skin. I like the way they provide a warm base under any pants. I like how the front pouch allows you to choose how are situated. They provide support without binding or squeezing anything. The only downside is that, if you sit for a while (at your desk or in your car), the elastic around "the boys" can begin to dig into your skin a bit. These are still my favorite long johns, for now.
